The Effect of Reading Aloud Strategy for Developing Reading Habits

The purpose of this study is to determine whether or not the reading aloud technique aided eighth-grade junior high school students in developing habits. This pre-experimental quantitative research. instruments utilized will be a test and questionnaire. study's population included 56 from two classes, with 29 serving as sample. data was collected classroom using reading-aloud activity. Descriptive inferential statistics were analyze application, well questionnaire analysis assess students' demonstrated that majority acquiring habits result Reading Aloud. Strategy applied it proved Aloud effective develop students’ Based on findings, therefore recommended among others should start apply strategy case their which are useful for future teachers help pay more attention attitude. It can done by providing variety books, encouraging independent reading, organizing class activities. And teacher encourages read extensively.
